Hello!
My name is Cassandra Rosado
I was raised in a home where care and creativity lived side by side, shaped by the daycare my grandmother built within our home and the many children who passed through it. From those early beginnings to years of working in child care, I developed a deep connection to helping children grow into their creative confidence just as much as their academic and personal development.
After going on to study acting and earning a BFA in Fine Arts, I continued exploring performance over the years and came to understand the power of being seen within safe spaces. I also recognized how few safe spaces exist for both children and adults to explore self-expression and reconnect with in-person social interaction in an increasingly digital world.
I then carried that knowledge into a seven-year career in television production, working on shows such as HBO’s And Just Like That…, NBC’s The Equalizer, and HBO’s Succession, I remain committed to creating content and films—both independently and collaboratively—while continuing to follow the thread of storytelling in all its forms.
Now, through creating Common Unity, I aim to bring together all the parts of my past that have brought me joy and use them to help build a future where joy is accessible to all. Today, I find the greatest joy in building Common Unity, and I hope we can all discover meaning for ourselves through the process of building it together.
